Joseph is a native Texan and a United States Navy Veteran who previously served as a Sonar Technician experienced in surface and underwater sonar systems over a six year career.  He maintained sonar systems on ships via troubleshooting and resolved detected issues to restore proper functionality. 

 

Joseph analyzed multiple data inputs across active and passive acoustic, Expendable Bathythermograph (XBT) and tactical oceanographic. Completed projects by effectively applying engineering, technical, and routine maintenance procedures.  He trained and managed 25 sailors quarterly throughout their careers to improve their level of knowledge and proficiency in the work environment.

 

Prior to being in the Navy, Joseph worked in the water well industry for a company in Alpine, Texas.  Joseph has experience in completing over 100 wells from start to finish for residential and commercial clients. He worked directly with clients to provide them insight on what equipment and service would best be suited for their needs. Joseph performed operations, maintenance and repairs on heavy duty equipment including skid steers, drilling rigs, pump trucks and maintained domestic & commercial water pumps.
